Ezgi & Furkan — A Quiet Morning in the Heart of Barcelona

Ezgi and Furkan reached out to me three months before their trip to Barcelona. From the very first message, I felt how genuinely excited they were for their engagement session. During those months, we chatted often: planning the route, choosing the perfect time of day, and sharing ideas for the mood and style they loved. By the time the shooting day arrived, it felt less like meeting new clients and more like reuniting with old friends

A Morning Without the Crowds

We decided to start early—before the city fully woke up. The Gothic Quarter can be busy and loud later in the day, but early in the morning it transforms into something completely different: soft light in the alleys, quiet plazas, and a calm that lets you slow down and breathe.As we walked through its maze of ancient streets, Ezgi and Furkan naturally fell into their own rhythm. They held hands, whispered jokes, and occasionally stopped to admire the little details of the city—the textured stone walls, the balconies full of plants, the cathedral spires peeking through the rooftops.

Capturing Authentic Intimacy

My approach for this session was simple: create space for them to just be themselves. The Gothic Quarter is already rich in atmosphere—every corner offers a cinematic backdrop—so all we needed was a slow, intimate walk together.We explored small hidden squares, quiet arches, and golden-lit corridors. The absence of crowds made everything feel even more personal, almost as if the whole neighborhood belonged to us for that one morning.
